I’m not sure if you’re like me or not, but I’ve noticed as I’ve gotten older all my joints just seem to bother me a little more and more each day. I did do some rough sports when I was a kid but my knees and elbows didn’t bother me much in my younger years. Now that I’m getting a little older I certainly can feel that I abused them some when I was younger.
The pain was starting to get unbearable so I started looking for something that would help. I knew I didn’t want to simply go to get a prescription medication due to all the side effects. So, I started looking online for something that may help. I found lots of information about exercising, stretching and some supplements. I have to admit I was very skeptical at first. It seems everywhere we turn these days we hear something about exercising more.
Luckily though, the information I found didn’t say I had to become gym nut, I just needed to get my joints moving everyday. It could be something as simple as going for a walk after dinner at night. I don’t mind walking at all and actually find it kind of relaxing. It takes my mind off everything I have to think about for the next day or even next week.
I found they also mentioned trying a supplement that contained glucosamine chondroitin MSM. I thought to myself, “Oh great, I bet those are expensive and probably won’t help anyway.” As I looked into this supplement though, I found it was actually quite reasonably priced.
So, I started a new course of action. I began walking after dinner each night. I did 10 minutes worth of stretches every morning when I woke up and I started taking the best glucosamine, chondroitin and MSM supplement I could find that had all three of the ingredients they suggested would help.
To my surprise, after just a week or two I could actually start noticing a difference. Now, don’t get me wrong. I wasn’t 100% better in just a couple of weeks, but I have to admit, I did feel less pain. The small amount of success I had gotten so far encouraged me to continue with my new routine. In fact, I even told a few of my work friends about it and they decided to start walking with me at lunch time at work.
This was really great because it made going for a walk even more enjoyable. My co-workers felt better from the additional exercise as well. I continued with my new routine for over 2 months and I was feeling great. I didn’t get rid of my joint pain 100%, but I certainly have so much less pain. Now, there are certain times when I just about completely forget I have any pain at all. If you have knee pain, shoulder pain, elbow pain or hip pain, I would really recommend you try stretching, walking and get a high quality glucosamine, chondroitin and MSM supplement. If you feel anywhere as good as I do, you’ll be really thankful you did.
